Advanced Schedule Rules Basics

Tap into this tutorial to learn about setting up and managing advanced schedule rules for court blocks and special bookings.

Welcome to our Advanced Schedule Rules tutorial!
Club managers can access these rule configurations. Here's a quick guide on how to find these advanced settings:

1. Log in to your Playbypoint account.
2.  Click on your profile icon and then go to Manage Facilities.
    

1.  Once inside, go to Settings.
   
2.  In Settings, you'll view an easy-access sidebar menu on the left-hand side where you can find the Reservation Rules.
   
3. Then, click on Go to advanced schedule rules.
   
4.  You'll now be able to see the Add Rule button to get started with your specific court blocks and bookings.
   
   
    

Inside Rule Configurations, there are various things you can refine to your club's needs. For instance, you have to name this advanced rule so it's easier to track and manage.

Next, have an Enable button which you switch on and off whenever you want.

Moving on, you can select the days for which this advanced rule will be valid.

And the “Days prior to apply” where 0 signals that the advanced rule will become effective immediately after you hit the Save button.

You can even make a court block exclusive for members only or applicable to all affiliation types.

Or make an advanced rule applicable to Pros only.

And the booking kind, in this case, we'd choose a lesson so it's then reflected in the court sheet overview as a lesson with advanced features.

Then, you can start dragging and dropping which courts and times you want to block a court for.

And if you want to free up space, just toggle the Block button in the top left corner to switch the mode and basically, “erase” the block.

Once you're done setting up your new advanced rule hit the save button!
