Configuring Affiliations for Membership-Based Booking Rules

To set up memberships with specific booking rules based on affiliations, follow these steps:

Step 1: Create a New Affiliation in the Settings.

1. a. Access the settings section of your system.
2. b. Look for the option to create a new affiliation (Memberships > Affiliation types) and click on it.
3. c. Provide a name for the new affiliation. Choose a descriptive name that helps you identify the group or category associated with it.
4. d. Save the new affiliation to add it to the system.

Step 2: Associate the New Affiliation with the Membership.
 

1. a. Locate the membership you have created or wish to modify.
2. b. Find the option to manage affiliations for this membership and select it.
3. c. Choose the newly created affiliation from the list of available options.
4. d. Save the changes to link the affiliation to the membership.

Step 3: Assign a Value for the Affiliation on Reservation Rules.
 

1. a. Navigate to the reservation rules section of your system.
2. b. Locate the rules that need to be tied to the affiliation.
3. c. Edit each rule and find the field where the affiliation value can be assigned.
4. d. Enter the corresponding value for the affiliation associated with the membership.
5. e. Save the changes made to each reservation rule.

By following these steps, you can configure booking rules based on affiliations for your memberships. The system will require you to specify an affiliation when creating memberships, allowing you to set permissions for different player types or groups. 

The affiliation value assigned to the reservation rules will ensure that the appropriate booking rules are applied to each membership, providing a customized experience based on their affiliation.
